Summer Adventure Camps

Unique, exciting and fun, Crux camps include: indoor and outdoor climbing, hiking, and plenty of games! Our camps allow children to increase their confidence, problem-solving skills, and physical strength in a fun and safe environment.

All of our camps include:

certified instructors and guides with advanced first aid

belay devices, harnesses, and helmets

bus transportation (Cardinal) to the mountains with certified driver

Crux Full-Day Camps

Climb On! Our full-day camps run during July and August from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm, Monday to Friday. The full-day camps are designed for kids of all experience levels. Our certified Canadian Mountain Guide (ACMG) staff teach the kids safety, climbing techniques, and problem solving skills. After the indoor lessons are complete, we head outdoors to hike and rock climb in the Bow Valley area!

Description	Our full day camp includes: 3 days indoor climbing 2 days outdoor climbing
Dates	July 14-18, and August 11-15
Age Range	Bighorns (ages 9-13) StoneCougars (ages 11-15)
Ratio and Certification	ACMG (Canadian Mountain Guide) staff leader, 8 students to 1 instructor ratio. Certified CPR and First Aid
Cost	$350+GST Price includes all gear, transportation and supervision.

Drop In Camps: Pick and Choose Some Dates

Going on a vacation or looking for an activity for a day or two? THe Crux offers drop in times during the summer if you can olny attent certain camp days. You can choose to enrol your child in for a half day or a full day. The choice is yours!

Morning Drop In	9:00 am to 12:00 pm
Afternoon Drop In	1:00 pm to 4:00 pm
Full Day Drop In	9:00 am to 4:00 pm
Dates	July 14, 16, 18th and August 11, 13, 15
Age Range	8-16yrs old
Ratio and Certification	ACMG (Canadian Mountain Guide) staff leader, 6 students to 1 instructor ratio. Certified CPR and First Aid
Cost	$40+GST Half day $80+GST Full day Price includes all gear and supervision.
